History Fair help if possible?

ok...idon't know if anybody can help me but my friend and i are doing history fair and we need an opinion on the rules....in the book it doesn't say anything about the topic....well it does but anyway my friend wants to research Lizzie Borden, not the gory murder part of it but like before the trial and what happened to her afterwords...but we cant find whether that would get her DQ'd or not......help would be appreciated
