Does anyone recognize the metaphor of "Bam's a$$" (as in donkey)? A philosophical metaphor or?

I am aware of a biblical A$$ lol (Balaam A$$) but the one you mention is much funnier. I guess its about choices ; we tend to take the easier among two.
