Tulip and hyacinths having trouble please help?

i recently got tulips and hyacinths for my room. i water them every day and put them outside in the sun everyday before i leave for work and bring them inside when i get home, and their petals are still kinda whithered looking. i have recently repotted them and their stems are not wilting, its just the petals. how can i fix them? is it just stress from being repotted or what? i have never had a flower before so forgive me for my stupidity.
