Is it okay to be a "rocker chic" mom?

I am 28 with four small children. My husband is 24 and in the Navy. We live about an hour away in small town. I like to dress "rocker chic". Not hard core, but just not traditional soccer mom. It's almost a toned down version of Gwen Stefani. Nothing inapropiate. I hold a job, own house, and take great care of my children. A mom at school asked why a mom would dress like that. My belly never shows, don't have tattoos, my isn't hanging out (actaully, I don't really have ). I just feel like I'm 28, in good shape, and that as long as I am good role model to my children why is important how I dress. I am a soccer mom, do I have to wear capris and polos? I wouldn't mind my girls dressing the way I do. I never show more than anyone else. It's just I am not afraid of personal style.
